Disable battery limit for the app:

1. Open System Preferences → Applications
2. Go to the Whispy app → Usage → Battery and select the “Unlimited” option

Android 11
Set the application to run in the background:

1. Open System Preferences and select Applications
2. Go to Whispy → Battery
3. Turn on Allow background activity
4. In the same section, select Optimize consumption → All → turn off the option for Whispy

Android 10
Disable battery optimization for the app:

1. Open System Preferences → Applications
2. Go to Whispy → Battery and select Battery Optimization
3. Click on the Not Optimized drop-down list at the top and select All apps
4. Find Whispy in the list and turn off the setting for the app

Android 9
Disable battery optimization for the app:

1. Open System Preferences → Applications
2. Go to Whispy → Battery and select Battery Optimization
3. Click on the Not Optimized drop-down list at the top and select All apps
4. Find Whispy in the list and turn off the setting for the app

Android 8
Disable battery optimization for the app:

1. In System Preferences, go to Applications
2. Select Whispy → Battery → Optimize consumption
3. Click on the Not Optimized drop-down list at the top and select All apps
4. Turn off the setting for Whispy

Disable battery optimization for the app:

1. Open System Preferences and go to Power & Performance
2. Go to Activity Control
3. Click Whispy
4. In Background Activity Monitoring mode, select No restrictions
5. In system settings, select Power & performance, then select Power saving → Disable power saving

Change battery settings:

1. Open System Preferences → Battery
2. Disable Power Saving Mode
3. In the Apps section, tap the menu in the upper right corner and open Special access
4. Go to Battery Optimization
5. Select All Apps
6. Click Disable for Whispy
7. Next, open Special access → Unrestricted data access and enable the option for Whispy
8. Restart your phone and check if the audio playback issue persists

Change battery settings:

1. Open the Battery or Accumulator section
2. Disable the Power Saving Mode and Smart Power Saving Mode options.
3. Go to Custom Power Saving → Whispy
4. Select Run in background

Android 13 and more
Set up power saving:

1. Open System Preferences → Applications
2. Go to Whispy → Battery and select the Unlimited option

Android 12

1. Open System Preferences → Applications
2. Go to Whispy → Battery and tap Unlimited
3. Go to System Settings → Battery → Power Saving Mode
4. Tap Emergency Power Saving Mode → Important Apps → select Whispy

Android 11
Disable background power saving:

1. Open System Preferences and select Applications
2. Go to Whispy → More
3. Tap Battery → Limit background activity
4. Turn on the Unlimited option
5. Here, find the item Battery saving → select Whispy and set Do not save
6. Open System Preferences → Battery
7. Go to Power Saving Mode → Emergency Power Saving Mode
8. Return to the Battery section
9. Turn off Adaptive Power Management

Android 9-10
Adjust power consumption:

1. In the system settings, go to Applications → Whispy
2. Open Battery and switch to Don't save
3. From the Battery section, go to Adaptive Battery and switch it to Off
